Christinas Grigoryants repertoire includes different eras and styles of music from baroque to modern jazz including works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff , Ravel, Gershwin, Brubeck, Piazzolla, Corea, Lord and many more.

The Grigoryants family line consists of armenian musicians many generations back. Both parents, Klara and Edward Grigoryants, were music teachers. Her father was also a well known composer and band leader.

At music school Christina was a student of locally renown teachers Nathalie Sudilkovskaya and Nonna Melnikova. From early age, she participated and won in various domestic and international piano competitions.

In 1994 Christina was accepted into the prestigious Gnessin Academy of Music under the tuition of renowned professors such as Boris Berlin, Tatiana Pospelova, Larissa Starodubvrovskaya and Alexey Skavrosnky.

Since childhood Christina has also developed a passion for jazz and has been involved in experimental modern music projects as a soloists and improviser.

The combination of the highest level piano academia with the freedom and spontaneity of jazz, folk and blues, is rather unique.
